At its core, the Shree Yantra is composed of nine interlocking triangles that radiate from a central point called the bindu. Four of these triangles point upward, symbolizing Shiva, the masculine principle associated with consciousness and stability. The remaining five triangles point downward, representing Shakti, the feminine principle associated with energy, creativity, and movement. The interpenetration of these triangles forms 43 smaller triangles, which together symbolize the complexity and harmony of the cosmos. This intricate structure shows how opposing forces unite to create balance and existence.
